April Showers

With a bit of a change in wind direction to more blustery westerly, migration seems to have slowed a bit, still a reports of Willow Warblers but not heard any singing yet in Nethybridge. Am off to Insh Marshes this afternoon, always a good place to spend a few hours scanning. There never seems much out there when you first arrive but it's well worth waiting to see what turns up.
Watched a couple of Golden Eagles displaying over the distant hills last week and there has been a White-tailed seen there also recently.
Looks like a return to colder weather again by the weekend with ground frost which is going to set things back even more, still not much chance of getting in to the hills to search for that Snowy Owl.
